Jimmy L. Gammons

Died: Jan. 24, 2014

Jimmy L. Gammons, 61, of Greeneville, passed away Friday morning at home.

He is survived by Diana Gammons Couch, the love of his life, best friend, and caregiver; two half-sisters: Carolyn Brooks and Phyllis Isbell; one half-brother: Kenneth Taylor; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Lorraine Taylor; half-brother: Don Taylor; and half-sister: Imogene Taylor.

Jim was in management for Pet Dairy for several years and worked in several different states before going to work for Flav-O-Rich Dairy in Louisiana and Alabama.

He was a very outgoing, fun-loving person. He enjoyed karaoke, fishing, and hunting.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Maurice Robinson, Dr. Dorian, and the wonderful staff of Smoky Mountain Hospice.

At his request there will be no formal visitation or service.

Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
