Carol Sonnenburg, 74, of Houston Valley Road, Greeneville, died Thursday evening at her home.

She was born July 25, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wis., a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Opetz) Kubnick.

Mrs. Sonnenburg was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church in Gray.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years: Albert Henry Sonnenburg; four sons and daughters-in-law: Charles and Pat Sonnenburg of Green Bay, Wis., Dale and Terri Sonnenburg of Lannon, Wis., Glenn and Cindy Sonnenburg of Cedar Burg, Wis., and Scott and Michele Sonnenburg of Milwaukee, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters and one brother-in-law: Marian Tilch of Hazel Park, Mich., and Lorraine and George Sontag of Fond du Lac, Wis.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 o'clock Monday evening in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Thomas Kock will officiate.

A committal service will be held at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 12:15 to go procession the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Snapp, Ron Williams, Dick Conger, John Reightler, Scott George, and Craig Shepherd.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Living Word Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 5210 N. Roan St., Gray, TN 37615.
