Anna Ruth Metcalf

Died: May 7, 2008

Anna Ruth Metcalf, 38-day-old daughter of Tiffany and Roger Metcalf Jr. of Elk Street, died Wednesday evening at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

She is survived by one sister: Amber Metcalf of Greeneville; her grandparents: Tamara Morgan, Michael Morgan, Tonya Morgan, Allison and Roger Metcalf Sr., and Karen and Rex Smith; her great-grandparents: Charlotte Metcalf and Charles Carter, both of Morristown, Janice Thomas of Mosheim, Evelyn Morgan of Greeneville and Teddy Carpenter of Chuckey; her great-great-grandmother: Pearl Woolsey Morgan of the Camp Creek community; several aunts and uncles, including her special uncles: Brandon Metcalf, Michael Morgan Jr., Caleb Morgan, and Wesley Benton; and several cousins, including special cousins: Travis Metcalf, Daniel Metcalf, Holden Metcalf, and Thomas Darnell Jr., all of Greeneville

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Anna Sue Carter, Henry Metcalf, and Thomas K. Morgan Sr.; a stepgreat-grandmother: Sandra Pleasant; and two great-great-grandmothers: Carlene Thomas, Virgie Lane, and Elizabeth Mullins.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in Mountain View Cemetery. "Brother" Roger Fannon will officiate.

Family and friends will meet at 10 o'clock at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Holden Metcalf, Wesley Benton, and Caleb Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers will be her special care nurses in the NICU at UT Medical Center NICU, including a special nurse: Ruth Thomas.
