AnnaBelle Malone Died: May 14, 2008 AnnaBelle Malone, 77, of Grassy Creek Road, Greeneville, died "peacefully" Wednesday at her home, her family stated. Mrs. Malone was a homemaker and the widow of Haskell "Jake" Malone. She was of the Baptist tradition of faith. "She was a very special mother and grandmother who loved working in her garden, as well as taking care of her flowers. Survivors include two sons: Bobby Wade Malone and Mike Malone, both of Greeneville; a daughter and son-in-law: Linda and John Whaley of Mosheim; a granddaughter: Makayla Malone; four grandsons: Benji Whaley, Jamie Whaley, Stacy Whaley, and Cody Whaley; a brother: Thurman Morris of Pennsylvania; a special sister-in-law: Helen Murdock; a brother-in-law: Luke Malone; her special nieces and nephews and their wives: Hilda and David Belt, Patsy and Jay Riddle, William and Sharon Malone, Charles and Linda Malone, and Leroy and June Malone; and a special friend: Billie Jo Cox. She was a daughter of the late D.C. and Lena Murdock and was preceded in death by a sister: Martha Malone; and four brothers: Charlie Lee Murdock, Herman Murdock, and twin infants. The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 8:30 in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Rex Brown will officiate. A committal service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday in Carter's Station Cemetery in the Albany community. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 in the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stacy Whaley, Jamie Whaley, Charles Malone, William Malone, John Ledwell, and Freddie Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Dharmen Patel and his nurses and staff, Dr. Joe Austin, Dr. Mark Patterson, the employees of Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice, and the third- and fourth-floor nurses and staff at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
