Hubert Dean Walker Jr.

Died: July 18, 2008

Hubert Dean Walker Jr., 52, of the Mount Zion community in Afton, died Friday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of Tusculum Baptist Church.

Mr. Walker was an employee of Huf North America.

Survivors include his wife: Shirley Ann Walker; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Hubert Dean Walker III of Rock Hill S.C., and LCPL Thomas Nelson and Elizabeth Walker of Norfolk, Va.; his father and his wife: Hubert Dean Walker Sr. and Joann Walker; his sisters and brothers-in-law: DeeAnn and Max Blevins of Greene Forest, Ark., Jeanine and Ron Fertitta of LaFayette, La., and Lynette and Joe Adcock of Cary, N.C.; and his brothers and sisters-in-law: Raymond and Julie Walker of Bulls Gap, Dennis and Terry Smith of Semmes, Ala., and Shaffer and Fern Smith of Jefferson City.

He was a son of the late Barbara Ann Walker.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 Wednesday morning in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Matt Ball, Austin Bowers, Jeremy Shepherd, Matt Webb, Jeremy Harris, Adam Sprayberry, and George Wach.

Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers at Huf North America and Dr. E. Brad Strange.
