The Cedar Creek Volunteer Fire Department will begin its annual door-to-door fundraising campaign at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 29.

Brad Seaton, the VFD's reporter, said the annual campaign, on which the department relies for much of its operating funds, will continue through Saturday, April 5.

Firefighters participating in the campaign will be dressed in shirts and hats that identify them as members of the fire department, Seaton said.

"We appreciate the support of the community," Seaton said. "Without it, we could not continue to operate."
