An arrest warrant filed by Deputy Sheriff Randy Christy charged Katherine Elizabeth Hogan, 32, of Old Cemetery Road, with leaving the scene of a 10:45 p.m. accident involving injuries near the intersection of the Erwin Highway and Chuckey Pike. The driver of the other vehicle involved, Ginger Tipton, 35, of Erwin, suffered minor injuries. The warrant filed by Deputy Christy indicated that Hogan's damaged car was stopped on the Tusculum By-Pass by Sheriff's Lt. Wesley Holt a short time after the accident. Lt. Holt, according to arrest warrants, charged Hogan with DUI, violating the implied consent law, and driving on a revoked license. Bond for Hogan was set at $3,500, and she was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today. Copyright © 2008, The Greeneville Sun |
