Several tennis players from the Greene County high schools have earned all-district honors for their play this season out of District 1-A/AA.

Players from the local schools who were honored:

Chuckey-Doak: Corlette Murphy, Christy Johnson, Corey Jenkins and Corey Ottinger.

North Greene: Brittany Bolton, Sybrina Medcalf, Kenny Hamer and Stephen Fillers.

South Greene: Ashley Ferguson, Rachel Pulliam, Heath Smith and Tyler Broyles.

West Greene: Cortney Dean, Caitlin Dean, Seth Greene and Aaron Monroe.

Players of the Year in the district, as selected by the coaches, are Jessica Brumit and Chris Brumit of Elizabethton, while Danny O'Quinn of Elizabethton is Coach of the Year.
