Tusculum College's Jimmy Boone poured in 21 points, including five 3-pointers in his "Rocky Top League" Basketball game on Wednesday at Bearden High School in Knoxville.

The Rocky Top Basketball League, which is sanctioned by the NCAA and is open to all current and former college basketball players, is in its second season. It includes several area college players, including the University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State.

Boone, a rising junior from Greeneville, shot 8-for-10 from floor, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc as his Toyota of Knoxville team defeated Richardson Construction, 122-110 and improves to 3-1 on the season. Boone is the oldest son of Tusculum head coach Jim Boone.

Tusculum basketball players Marko Kostic and Rob Zalucki are also participating in the summer league.

The RTBL consists of six teams with current and former players from 30 colleges universities, including Tusculum, Tennessee, Carson-Newman, Clemson, Lincoln Memorial, Marquette, Tennessee Tech, Coastal Carolina and ETSU to name a few.
