(Last modified: 2008-07-03 12:20:44) Source: The Greeneville Sun A burglary occurred some time early this morning at Wells Tractor Repair at 6858 Asheville Highway. A report filed by Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Morgan said a window was broken to gain entry to the business office sometime after 1:30 a.m. However, the report noted that employees of the Glen Hills Utility District who had been working in the area overnight reported that the burglary apparently took place after 3 a.m. because they had equipment parked at the business until 3 a.m. and did not notice the burglary. After entering the business, the thief, or thieves, took a Hewlett Packard tower computer valued at $600 and a $1,800 Toshiba laptop computer along with $20 cash, according to the report.
