The American Conservative Union Political Action Committee has endorsed U.S. Rep. David Davis, R-1st, of Johnson City, for reelection.

ACU PAC Chairman David A. Keene said, "In his first year in Congress, Davis' rating of 100 percent in the ACU Rating of Congress for 2007 shows that Davis can be counted on for support on a broad range of issues of interest to conservatives, whether the issue is economic, social or national defense."
