Suspects Accused Of Various Crimes
By BILL JONES Staff Writer A Greene County grand jury that met on Tuesday, Sept. 2, returned indictments against 23 people on a variety of charges. The grand jury also declined to indict Christopher Damon Bonds, 27, of 4950 Shackleford Road, on a charge of evading arrest on March 6, 2008. Those against whom the grand jury returned indictments on Tuesday, were: * Michael Blazer, 41, of 174 Quillen Shell Road, Greeneville, on charges of possessing a controlled substance (1,074.7 grams of marijuana) with the intent to sell or deliver it on April 2, 2008, and possessing 18 morphine tablets with the intent to sell or deliver then on May 8, 2008; * Andrea Lanora Campbell, 57, of 101 Earl Street, on charges of possessing a controlled substance (897.5 grams of marijuana) with intent to sell or deliver it and simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (0.2 grams of cocaine) on March 6, 2008; * Matthew C. Davis, 21, of Huntingdon, Tenn., on a charge of manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in an amount over 0.5 grams on April 17, 2008; * Tracy D. Williams, 61, of 224C Simpson Street, on charges of fraudulently obtaining TennCare medical benefits on June 15, 2007, and fraudulently obtaining TennCare medical benefits between Oct. 9 and Oct. 12, 2007; * Joseph Allen Foshie, 38, of 1700 Dellwood Drive, Greeneville, on charges of violating the motor vehicle habitual offender act, speeding, possessing a revoked license and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility on June 3, 2008; * Sean Devlin Downing, 40, of Cookeville, Tenn., on charges of DUI (3rd offense), driving on a revoked license (2nd offense), failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility, violating the open container law and violating the implied consent law on May 25, 2008; * Rebecca C. Caldwell, 48, of 635 W. McKee Street, on charges of DUI (2nd offense), driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license, violating the implied consent law and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility on May 29, 2008; * Christopher Lynn Fields, 24, of Kingsport, on charges of DUI (4th offense) and violating the implied-consent law on May 1, 2008; * Jerry Allen Carter, 33, of Mooresburg, Tenn., on charges of DUI (2nd offense) and violating the implied consent law on Feb. 2, 2008; * Richard Lee Wallace, 51, of 43 Highland Park No. 4, on a charge of violating the sex offender registration act on May 5, 2008; * Jeffery Zon Jennings, 44, of 715 Chuckey Pike, Chuckey, on a charge of driving on a revoked license on May 8, 2008; * Tara Lee Dixon, 28, of 273 Dinwiddie Road, Chuckey, on charged of forging checks in the amounts of $85.82 and $64 on April 1, 2008; * Kevin Lee Chapman, 24, of 116 Bayberry Street, Greeneville, on charges of forging checks in the amounts of $85.82 and $64 on April 1, 2008; * Amanda M. Hensley, 28, of 710 W. Church St., Greeneville, on charges of forging checks in the amounts of $114.64 and 52.47 on April 14, 1008, and $164.89 on April 13, 2008; * Daniel Lee Sanson, 31, of 1245 Betsy Ross Road, Afton, on charges of forging checks in the amounts of $144.64 and $52.47 on April 14, 2008, and $164.89 on April 13, 2008; * Dana Nicole Holly, 27, of Bristol, Tenn., on charges of identity theft and criminal simulation on March 23, 2007; * Lenny Gene Hensley, Jr., 25, of 7976 Snapps Ferry Road, on a charge of theft over $1,000 in connection with a May 13, 2008, theft of a Honda motorcycle owned by Travis Metcalf; * Lindsey R. Donels, 30, of Rogersville, on charges of forging a $300 check at the Greeneville Wal-Mart on Sept. 18, 2007; * Donald Russell Locher, 20, of 70 Wandering Drive, Chuckey, on a charge of evading arrest on June 10, 2008; * Oscar Cruz, 28, of Morristown, on a charge of domestic assault, driving on a revoked license (3rd offense) and felony evading arrest on May 27, 2008; * Adam L. Vaughn, 26, of Bristol, Va., on a charge of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud form Greene County Pharmacy on May 20, 2008; * William Victor Adkins, 48, of 1767 Fairview Road, Afton, on charges if DUI (4th offense), driving on a canceled, suspended or revoked license (3rd offense), unlawful removal of a license plate, and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility on April 4, 2008; and * Bradley P. Rosentrater, 29, of 55 Peters Lane, Afton, on a charge of theft of property valued at over $1,000 (a quantity of aluminum owned by EcoQuest) between Aug. 24, 2007, and Sept. 1, 2007.
