(Last modified: 2008-10-08 09:34:25) Source: The Greeneville Sun Torrey Smith, 30, of 101 Barnes St., Fall Branch, was charged on Tuesday, Oct. 7, by Johnson City police with 22 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card under $500 and theft of property over $1,000. The arrest was the result of an investigation in which Smith had used a business credit card issued to Petsmart at 22 businesses in the Johnson City area to make personal charges, a police report said. Smith is a former employee of Petsmart who failed to turn in his credit card at the time his employment was discontinued, the release said. Smith is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $32,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court today for an arraignment.
