Randy Harley has joined EcoQuest Printing as calendar sales and marketing manager, EcoQuest President Mike Letts has announced.
Harley comes to EcoQuest Printing to create and develop a line of calendar products.
He heads a new EcoQuest subsidiary called Summit Calendar, which was launched in January and is currently promoting its line of calendars to more than 19,000 promotional products salespeople across the United States.
According to Letts, Harley is also pursuing other printing revenue streams suited to EcoQuest Printings' equipment and helping to review current plant floor procedures and processes to streamline the entire printing operation.
Harley said, "While Summit Calendar is a subsidiary of EcoQuest Printing, I feel an ownership due to the autonomy given to me by Mike Letts. He has allowed me to develop the calendar line, purchase the necessary equipment and exhibit at the key trade shows in the promotional products industry.
"EcoQuest Printing subscribes to a customer service philosophy that will be welcomed in the calendar industry. The experienced staff, state of the art facility and equipment will afford us the opportunity to become a viable calendar supplier," Harley added.
"This opportunity is a renaissance for me personally. It has recharged my batteries and I am looking forward to generating another revenue stream for EcoQuest Printing."
Letts responded, "We are very happy to have Randy on board. His level of experience gives us great confidence that the new calendar line will not only be successful, but will provide additional services to EcoQuest Printing's top-quality printing menu."
Harley comes to EcoQuest Printing after 26 years with American Calendar Company of Greeneville. He is a graduate of Tusculum College. He and his wife, Pamela, reside in Greeneville. Their son, Patrick, attends Auburn University.
