Chuckey-Doak beat visiting Daniel Boone on Friday in the regular season soccer finale.

The Black Knights got on the board in the 7th minute when Alex Perez took a direct kick and placed the ball perfectly over the wall to Bodie Price, who powered the ball just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute Price got another goal with an assist from Noah Naseri.

Perez and Naseri connected for the third goal in the 52nd minute with Naseri beating the keeper one-on-one.

This was the sixth shutout of the season for goalkeeper Lacy-Jay Bowman and the Black Knight defensive unit of Kevin Moss, Steven New, Bryant Gross, Josh Evans and Zach King.

The Black Knights ended the regular season with a 10-3-3 record and host University High on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. for the first round of the district tournament.

In pre-game festivities the following ten seniors were honored: Noah Naseri, Alex Perez, Bodie Price, Jonathan Castor, Josh Evans, Kevin Moss, Ryan VanWinkle, David Nunez, Steven New, and Cody Knight.
