JOHNSON CITY -- North Greene fell 15-5 to University High on Monday in the opening round of the District 1-A Baseball Tournament.
The Junior Bucs scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and never trailed.
The Huskies got the bat on the ball just as well as the Bucs -- nine hits apiece -- but couldn't match University High in getting the runs across.
Willie Schlotman had a pair of hits and drove in three runs. Luke Williams hit a home run. Cody Miller had two hits, including a double.
The Huskies must play Hampton today at 4 p.m. in an elimination game.
