An Asheville Highway resident was injured shortly before 4:30 p.m. Saturday when the car she was driving went off Seaton Road and struck a utility pole.
A report filed by Deputy Sheriff Mike Shipley said Mae F. Collins, 67, of the Asheville Highway, told officers that she lost control of the 1984 Ford LTD sedan she was driving north on Seaton Road after experiencing chest pains.
The vehicle then left the road, passed through a fence, and struck a utility pole, according to the Sheriff's Department report.
Collins was taken by a Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services ambulance to Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
