U.S. Rep. David Davis, R-1st, of Johnson City, has been endorsed for re-election to another term by the House Conservatives Fund.
Rep. Tom Feeney. R-Fla., chairman of the House Conservatives Fund, said Davis has proven his "commitment to conservative principles by being a voice for fiscal restraint, transparency in government, and traditional values."
The House Conservatives Fund says it is "is supported by more than 100 fiscally and socially conservative Members of Congress who seek to return the Republican Party to its Ronald Reagan roots."
Davis responded in a press release, "Like myself, the House Conservatives Fund believes in fiscal restraint, traditional family values, lower taxes, the rule of law, and the core beliefs of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I am honored to have received this endorsement."
