Jeff Francis Tillotson, 25, of 1240 Catawba St., Kingsport, was arrested Tuesday on a three-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Greeneville.

The first two counts of the indictment charge Tillotson with distribution and advertisement of child pornography, and the third count charges Tillotson with possession of child pornography, according to the press release.

A trial date for Tillotson has been set for Sept. 3 in U.S. District Court here, according to U.S. Attorney Russ Dedrick.

If convicted, Tillotson could face a term of imprisonment of not less than five years and not more than 20 years on each of the first two counts and up to 10 years' imprisonment on the third count, the release said.

Each count also carries a maximum fine of $250,000 and the potential of supervised release for life.
