Olde Farmhouse Restaurant ‘Temporarily’ Closes
The Olde Farmhouse Restaurant, shown above, at 35 Sentelle Road and the 107 Cutoff in Greene County, has temporarily closed, according to its owner, Angela Stine. Those telephoning the restaurant recently have heard a recorded message saying its operators “had to close the restaurant due to (personal) health reasons. We want to thank all our customers for supporting us over the years,” the message said. In a telephone interview Wednesday, Stine said she hopes the restaurant will only be closed through June, its closing having been caused by an allegric reaction she had that has caused her to be seriously ill. The Olde Farmhouse Restaurant opened in January 2002 and has been very popular.
