A former Greeneville resident, Lori Gregg-Harshbarger, has been appointed the superintendent of Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility (LICF) in Logansport, Ind.
Harshbarger is a native of Greeneville and graduated from Greeneville High School in 1990. She earned a master's degree at East Tennesee State University.
She is a 12-year employee of the Indiana Department of Correction.
Harshbarger was most recently assistant superintendent at LJCF, a 252-bed facility for boys, and has been serving as its acting superintendent.
She graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and law and society, and she then obtained a master's degree in criminology.
Her parents are James and Carolyn Gregg, of Greeneville. She said a sister, Christy Hoeke, also resides here with her husband, Stuart.
