The Backyard Burgers restaurant along E. Andrew Johnson Highway near the Wal-Mart storeclosed last week. A sign posted on the door said, “BYB in Greeneville is closed. Please stop by and see us at our other location in Johnson City across from ETSU.” A former employee there said, “Business was just not that good.” Rodney Isolani, who also owns the Backyard Burgers restaurant in Johnson City, could not be reached for comment.
