Men's American
Friday at the New Field:
Smith Brothers got two singles, a double and homer from James Flannery and two singles and a homer from Scott Compton in an 18-10 win over S&S Millwright. Nathan Holt had two singles and a double and Dan Douthat three singles for S&S.
Smith Brothers then came back to beat Tusculum Fire Dept. 12-3. Bobby Wilson slapped out two singles and a double and Mike Denton three singles for the winners. Jordan Laws with two singles and a homer and Justin House with three singles led Tusculum.
Tusculum Fire Dept. rallied back for a 14-13 win over Greeneville Fire Dept. Jordan Laws had two singles and two homers and Allen Foshie two singles and a triple for Tusculum. Greeneville got a single and homer from Ryan Holt and a single and triple from Matthew Solomon.
Merkel Brothers came out a 24-14 winner over Mosheim Fire Dept. Brandon Garber with a homer, two triples and a single and James Carpenter with a triple, double and two singles paced the winner. Robert Stott had hree singles and a double and Allan Draughn two singles and a double for Mosheim.
At Legion Field Friday:
Fat Boyz tripped Cremins Electric 22-19 with Andrew French having a grand slam homer, double and single and Cody Cordwell a homer and single. Alan Cruey with a triple and single and Roger Metcalf Jr. with two doubles guided Cremins.
Piggin' Out posted a 22-12 win over John Deere as Dustin Landers banged three homers and Spencer Dobson a double and two singles. Tony Lowe with a homer and triple and Chris Morris with a homer and double led Deere.
Piggin' Out also captured a 16-0 win over Fat Boyz. Dustin Landers with two homers, one a grand slam, and a double led the win.
Creekside Market won 20-15 over Vistawall. Chad Wilhoit had a triple and single and Justin Jeffers a double and single for Creekside. Kyle Donahue had a homer and double and Randy Davis a double and single for Vistawall.
Men's National
Monday at Legion Field:
C-Decks edged Pizzazz Pictures 11-9. Cal Dunn and Jerry Brooks each lined out three hits. Tim Foshie belted a homer and two singles and Brian Fillers a homer and two doubles in a losing effort.
Pizzazz Pictures came back to take a 20-10 win over Stingers. Brian Fillers led with three doubles and a homer and Jeff Gosnell had three doubles and a single. Aaron Tweed paced Stingers with two singles and a double.
Pizzazz Pictures then downed Cavemen 28-12 as John Scott had four singles and Brian Fillers three homers and a double. Jerry Taylor had two homers and a single for Cavemen.
Moose and Bottle Shop had a double forfeit.
Women's League
At the New Field Monday:
Unpredictables turned back Olympia Lanes 15-11. June Landers had a homer, two doubles and a single and Jessie Pope a triple, double and two singles. Satin Jennings had a triple, double and two singles and Crystal Crum a double and three singles in a losing effort.
GLP/Sno Biz defeated Roger's Automotive 16-1. Elizabeth Kelton led the victory with four hits.
Jennings Truck Service blanked Roger's 15-0 as Brittany Kinser had a homer and two singles and Mary Lou Rice a triple and two doubles.
