The public is invited to attend a special event at the Greeneville Wal-Mart on Sunday, July 13, to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.
Gospel music, crafts, food, antiques, and a Funville carnival will be part of the event that will be held in the parking lot from 1 to 6 p.m.
The musical lineup will include:
* Gospel Proclaimers, 1 to 2 p.m.;
* The Believers, 2 to 3 p.m.;
* Majestic Heights Quartet, 3 to 4 p.m., and
* Bryan Birchfield, 4 to 5 p.m.
Nationally known gospel music tenor Rick Strickland will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Founded in 1983 by entertainers Marie Osmond and John Schneider, the Children's Miracle Network is an alliance of premier pediatric hospitals that provide specialized care to young patients.
In this area, the Wellmont Health System, based in Kingsport, and East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville, are part of the CMN alliance.
