Cafe
Mojoe, a coffeehouse, reopened Wednesday at the corner of Main and Depot streets in the heart of
downtown Greeneville.
The new dining spot is attractively decorated, its
walls painted in lively colors.
There are some comfortable lounge chairs
as well as table seating. It can seat 20 people in two rooms that cover 1,800 square
feet.
Free wireless Internet is
available.
Cafe Mojoe's owner-operator is Coleman Gourley. He relocated
the cafe from its previous location, which closed earlier this year, in the Greeneville Square
shopping center along the 11E Bypass.
Gourley purchased the business
from his father-in-law, Dr. Mike Monger, a local dentist.
Gourley said
Cafe Mojoe features a wide variety of coffees, pastries and sandwiches for breakfast and
lunch.
He said the cafe will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays as
well as on Saturdays, although its Saturday hours have yet to be established.
"We've got a great location," said Gourley, adding that his aim is to
have a convenient place for folks to relax.
At times, he said, "We're
definitely going to have live music."
Cafe Mojoe fills takeout orders.
The telephone number is 638-3056.
