Walters State Community College and the Tennessee Technology Center at Morristown will host the "Lakeway Area Career Fair 2008" on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Walters State Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center in White Pine.
More than 1,000 high school seniors will attend the fair that morning, with a group of eighth-grade students attending during the afternoon.
Booth space is available to businesses and postsecondary educational institutions for $65.
"This is a great opportunity to let future graduates know about the companies that are located in this area and the skills employers need. Even if your company is not hiring now, this is an excellent chance to make contact with the up-and-coming workforce," said Dr. Andy Hall, a WSCC counselor and job placement specialist.
Companies may want to display products, advertising or other information that will familiarize students with the company.
For more information, call Hall at (423) 585-6801.
