Allegiant Air has begun nonstop service from Tri-Cities Regional Airport to the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.

To celebrate, the low-cost airline is offering a special $59 one-way limited-time fare to the Tampa Bay area.

The new flights operate two times weekly, with service Thursday and Sunday. Flights depart Tri-Cities Regional Airport at 4:35 p.m. and arrive in St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport at 6:30 p.m.

Flights leaving St. Petersburg-Clearwater depart at 1:55 p.m. and arrive in Tri-Cities at 3:55 p.m.

The $59 sale fares are available for a limited time and must be purchased by Dec. 3 for travel completed by Feb. 28.
