Free Will Baptist Family Ministries (FWBFM) has been notified that on Jan. 15 it will be given 20 new Dell laptop computers
Connected Tennessee's Computers 4 Kids, working with the Tennessee Department of Children's Services and AT&T, plans to give the computers to help youths "access the NovaNet System to take high school classes and obtain high school diplomas."
FWBFM, whose headquarters is in Camp Creek, describes itself as "a comprehensive social-service agency which provides a full array of services to meet the needs of at-risk children, adolescents, adults, and families."
Dr. James Kilgore, Family Ministries' president and CEO, said, "These computers are a tremendous tool for young people to have access to in the classroom.
"The computers donated by Computers 4 Kids, combined with the NovaNet Recovery System, give every student a fair advantage with their education process while enrolled at P.A.T.H. Academy."
A donation ceremony will be held on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 12 noon at Free Will Baptist Family Ministries, PATH Academy School Building, 90 Stanley Lane.
