Tusculum College junior Simon Holzapfel won his fourth individual cross country title this season in as many races at the Trailblazer Invitational Saturday morning.
Holzapfel won with a school-record time of 26:17.33 on the 8,000-meter course as the Pioneers finished third in the team competition with 56 points.
In the women's race, graduate student Robin Smith finished fourth with a 5K time of 22:22.75 as the Tusculum women placed third in the team title chase with 59 points.
Rookie David Parham placed seventh in the men's meet with a time of 29:16.87. Ben Hale posted a time of 31:20.32 to finish 18th, while Elvis Machado placed 25th with a time of 36:27.19. Tyler Rogers (37:50.26) and Jason Seaton (40:31.36) finished 26th and 27th, respectively.
Senior Katie Shelton finished fifth in the women's meet with a time of 22:40.56, while junior Jessica Figler posted a time of 26:34.54 to finish 20th. Kelsey Longwell finished 21st with a time of 27:21.10, while rookie Josie Honaker posted a 23rd place finish with a time of 28:40.20. Senior Estefania Chavez (28:47.81) and freshman Storm Vance (36:04.27) rounded out the Tusculum scoring finishing 24th and 28th, respectively.
