Kara Harris posted a double-double of 11 kills and 13 digs to lead the Newberry volleyball team to a three-set win over host Tusculum on Saturday afternoon at Pioneer Arena in South Atlantic Conference action.
Newberry (17-11, 7-6 SAC) won the match by scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-15, while avenging last month's loss to the Pioneers (16-12, 7-7 SAC).
Tusculum freshman Sam Underwood continued her stellar play of late as she led all players with her .611 attack percentage (11-0-18). Sophomore setter Peyton Colclough accounted for a double-double with 31 assists and 10 digs, while freshman Bailee Price led her team with 13 digs in the loss.
Tusculum returns to the court Tuesday at LMU.
