West Greene High School received the Blue Ridge Athletic Conference Ralph Stout Sportsmanship Award during Monday night's banquet and meeting of the Region 1 Football Officials Association held in Johnson City.
The association, which represents 29 public schools and two Christian schools playing football in Upper East Tennessee, presented the awards to each conference: Unaka from the Mountain East; Johnson County from the Three Rivers; Tennessee High from the Big 8; and Jefferson County from the Inter-Mountain. Tennessee High also won the highest rated award, the annual Bobby Dodd Trophy.
