SG's Dye Inks With Belmont
Today is national early signing day for basketball, and South Greene High School senior Rechelle Dye wasted
no time in getting her name on the papers for a basketball scholarship to Belmont University in Nashville.
Seated alongside Rechelle are her parents, Darby and Tiffney Dye. Standing are South Greene Coach Derek
Dyer (left) and South Greene Athletic Director Terry Hoese. The point guard for the Lady Rebels will begin her
fourth season as a starter for South Greene. She averaged 12.1 points per game as a junior and helped
guide her team to the TSSAA State Tournament, where the Rebels finished in the "Final Four." She is also a
4.0 student at South Greene and currently ranks first in her senior class.
