Corley's Pharmacy, an independent local business, has received an Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation.
This award is made "when suppliers of home medical equipment demonstrate a high level of quality practices in their business operations and patient care techniques," according to a news release.
Corley's Pharmacy, at 1004 Snapps Ferry Road, earned the three-year accreditation after completing a comprehensive application that focuses on patient care, financial stability, and a commitment to quality operational practices and procedures.
Alan Corley, the pharmacy's president, said, "We sought accreditation by the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation to demonstrate that our company is committed to providing excellent patient care and safety in a financially solvent environment."
In 30-plus years of service to the community, Corley's has grown from three employees to more than 20.
