A large crowd of 3,152 celebrated the Fourth of July with the all-American pastime of watching a baseball game and fireworks with family and friends Saturday night at Tusculum College's Pioneer Park.

Between 150 and 200 enthusiastic people -- many carrying signs -- attended a "Tea Party" rally at noon Thursday in front of the Greene County Courthouse.

Dogwood Park at Tusculum View was dedicated Tuesday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Gov. Phil Bredesen.
