CDHS vs. Elizabethton Basketball

Published: 9:47 AM, 12/09/2008

Chuckey-Doak's Lady Knights opened their Watauga Conference campaign in the best possible way, upsetting visiting Elizabethton 57-52 Friday night in a barnburner.

Chuckey-Doak's boys also shot the ball well in the nightcap, but they had trouble holding onto it. Turnovers doomed the Knights' chances, allowing Elizabethton to slip away 76-68 winners.
