Greeneville attorney John T. Milburn Rogers filed a class-action lawsuit against Nuclear Fuel Services against NFS and six other companies. The suit seeks compensatory damages and injunctive relief for individuals who suffered injuries, death or property damage as a result of NFS operations in Erwin. These individuals live or lived in the Erwin area or downriver in Unicoi, Greene and other counties. Rogers filed the suit in U.S. District Court in Greeneville on June 13, 2011, and conducted a news conference in front of the courthouse. Click LAWSUIT to see a copy of the lawsuit.
