Recent works by artist Nicholas "Nic" Hankins will be featured throughout the month at the Mason House Gallery in the General Morgan Inn.
An artist's reception will be held Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the gallery, according to a recent news release from the Greeneville Arts Council.
The exhibit is sponsored by the council and the General Morgan Inn.
Throughout the month, the show features Hankins' paintings in a variety of mediums, with a special focus on colorful floral subjects.
"I'm honored to share the results of my time in the studio with all my friends in Greeneville," Hankins said.
"I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to do something I love for a living, and the prospect of sharing that joy with others in a show at the Mason House Gallery is very exciting."
Hankins holds a B.F.A. in studio art with a concentration in painting from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
He has teaching credentials from Alexander Art Corporation and Bob Ross Inc., and has taught painting classes throughout East Tennessee and at a number of national painting seminars, the news release states.
