CUMBERLAND GAP — Allen Vaughn drained six 3-pointers and scored a game-high 25 points to lead the West Greene Buffaloes to a 62-61 District 2-2A win over the Cumberland Gap Panthers on Friday night.

West Greene led 13-9 after one quarter and 25-21 at halftime.

Vaughn knocked down five 3-pointers in the third quarter as the Buffs surged to a 54-36 lead.

Ethan Turner added 13 points for West Greene, now 6-23 overall and 2-9 in district play.

Cumberland Gap (8-15, 1-10) got 20 points from Jake Templin and 16 from Jaden Schertz.
