David Crockett Birthplace State Park is hosting Crockett Christmas Children’s Hour from noon to 1 p.m. during the Crockett Christmas celebration and Craft Faire planned Saturday.

Visitors at the campground pavilion can make a Christmas craft and learn about pine trees found in the park. The story “A Wish to Be a Christmas Tree” by Colleen Monroe will be read, and the hour will finish with the group making a pine cone bird feeder, a news release says.

Kids can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Stonecypher Cabin from 1-3 p.m. following the Children’s Hour.

The cost for the program is $2 per participant. Call 423-257-2167 to reserve a spot.
