Shelby Bullitt and David Lewis, of Gulfport, Florida, were married Dec. 8, 2018, at The Homeplace at Johnston Farm.
Pastor Jeff Rice, of Homestead, Florida, officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia Gibbs, of Homestead, Florida, and the granddaughter of Jim and Sue Gibbs, of Midway.
The groom is the son of Dr. Kathryn Majarwitz, of Bradenton, Florida.
Given in marriage by her grandfather, Jim Gibbs, the bride wore a silk and tulle ballroom gown with a pearl and sequin bodice and an elbow-length veil. Her bouquet was made of her grandmother’s wedding Bible, dog tags from the groom and grandfather and a single red rose.
Adrienna Johnson, of Cocoa, Florida, was the matron of honor.
Nicole Price, of Tampa, Florida, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were McKenzie Kelly, of Akron, Ohio, and Olivia Turpening, of Orlando, Florida.
The groom wore his U.S. Marine Corps dress uniform.
Sean Carlo Lopez, of Tampa, was the best man.
Groomsmen were Corlan McDonald, of Orlando, Aaron Wilson, of Norway, and Michael McNeil, of Quincy, Massachusetts.
The bride’s mother wore a chiffon, navy blue pantsuit. Her grandmother wore an egplant, full-length, silk gown with a sequined top and jacket.
The groom’s mother wore a long, navy and lace chiffon gown.
After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, the couple are living in Gulfport.
She is a 2013 graduate of University of Central Florida and a 2017 graduate of the University of Akron Law School. She is employed at Fulgencio Law Firm of Clearwater, Florida.
He is a 2014 graduate of University of Central Florida and serves as 1st Lt. with the Marine Reserves and as a logistics specialist for a defense contractor in Clearwater.
