Carolyn Combs Roberts Waites, 82, of Greeneville, took her heavenly flight on Thursday at her home.
She is survived by two daughters: Janice Roberts Castle and Nancy Roberts Myers and Gary Brenneman; eight grandchildren: Jason (Ashley) Myers, Daniel (April) Myers, Bethany (Adam) Martin, Heather Castle, Zoey Castle, Sandi Castle, Anna Castle, and Sam Castle; 13 great-grandchildren: Madison, Matthew, Morgan, Jackson, and Jason Junior Myers, Mary, Levi, Annie, and Nathan Myers, Brooke and Candice Castle, Jax Vaugh, and Adrian Guzman; a sister: Madge (Bill) Brown; “baby brother”: Bobby (Joyce) Combs; brother-in-law: Buddy Luttrell; nieces: Lisa Jenkins, Betty (Terry) Rednour, Audra (Jason) Malone, Margie Brown, and Cindy (Mike) Edmonds; nephew: J. Keith (Angela) Cutshall; and great-nephews and great-niece: Jed and Troy Cutshall, Jake Malone, and Andee Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: Frank Roberts and Bobby Waites; parents: J. T. and Gladys Combs; two sisters: Mabel Luttrell and Helen Cutshall; brother-in-law: Jimmy Cutshall; and nephew: Wallace Combs.
The family will receive friends from 4–7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Sunday in Doughty-Stevens Chapel. The Rev. Mike Young will officiate.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Monday to go in procession to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for the 11 a.m. committal service.
Pallbearers will be Jason Myers, Daniel Myers, Matthew Myers, Terry Rednour, J. Keith Cutshall and Mike Edmonds.
