Dianne Ward Malone, 58, of Ottway, passed away Friday at Greeneville Community Hospital East.

Dianne was a member of Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years: Luther “Luke” Malone; two daughters and sons-in-law: Jamie and Ryan Adams, of Jonesborough, and Heather and Andrew Carter, of Greeneville; four grandchildren: Adrianne Adams, Eli Adams, Kaylie Carter and Josie Carter; one sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Stacey Johnson, of Baileyton; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Roger and Teresa Ward, of Cedar Creek, and Rick Ward, of the West Pines community; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Joannie Ward.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in Jeffers Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Malone officiating.

Interment will be in Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
