Dorothy “Dot” Laws, 57, of Greeneville, passed away Saturday at her residence.

She is survived by her sons: Keith Laws, Bruce Laws and Duke Laws; daughter and son-in-law: Katrina and Kyle Gunter; grandchildren: Cody Church, Jessie Church, Kourtney Laws, Chelsey Luttrell, Tad Laws, Chelsea and Josh Powell, and Dalton Collins; great-grandchildren: Corbin Powell Kyleigh and Dawson Gunter; two sisters: Martha Collins and Mary Laws; brothers: Luda and Sharon Phillips, and Nelson Phillips; brother-in-law: Dwain Laws; several cousins; special friends: Amy Laws, Victoria Collins, April Kesterson, Tina Newton and Heather Newton.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Darrell Keith Laws; a son: Darrell Heath Laws; her parents: Sebe and Donna Mae Phillips; two sisters: Pauline Wright and Ethel Carpenter; and two brothers: Harley Phillips and James Phillips.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery Thursday at 1:45 p.m. for the 2 p.m. graveside service. The Rev. Sandy Cutshaw and the Rev. Kenneth Matthews will officiate.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
