Edward “Eddie” A. Munsey, 81, of the Romeo community, died early Saturday at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
He attended Romeo United Methodist Church.
Mr. Munsey was a lifelong dairy farmer and loved what he did.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who loved all of his family and being with people.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years: Janie Munsey; a daughter: Shona Parkins; a grandson: Nick and Amber Laughlin; four great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Caleb, Sophia and Olivia; two brothers: David and Burnis Munsey, and Don Munsey; a sister: Carole Boles; a sister-in-law: Jean Munsey; a brother-in-law: Steve Lowe; nieces and nephews: Donna Greenlee, Suzanna Reynolds, Sharon Cook and Steven Munsey; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents: J.P. and Ethel Munsey; brothers: Jack Munsey and Bobby Munsey; and a sister-in-law: Linda Munsey.
The Munsey family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Dpughty-Stevems Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Malone and the Rev. Dixie Miller officiating.
Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will include John Cooter, Mike Malone, Keith Coffman, Matthew Greenlee, Lyle Montieth and Donnie Solomon.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville.
