JOHNSON CITY — John William Graham, 77, of Johnson City, met his heavenly father on Thursday from his residence.

John was a son of the late William H. and Mary G. Graham. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Ann Corman-Pierce.

John is survived by his loving wife: Laura; a son: William (Scherry) Noel; a daughter: Tamara G. Blevins; his very beloved grandchildren: Whittney Lewis, Christopher and Anna Graham, and Olivia Blevins. John also loved Annie, Emma and Jack Rhea, Caroline Rhea (Preston) Perry, along with Chip, Lynn, A.R. and Kelly Rhea. In addition, he is also survived by a special cousin: Tom (Marsha) Luneke; a godson: Shane (Kristy) Matthews; and his special friends: Edith Clark, Jackie and Len Runyan, Marc and Mary Runyun, Charlie McCoy, Sally and Jerry Elliot, and Debbie and John Dobbs.

For many years John was active in the betterment of Johnson City and East Tennessee State University.

He owned and operated Kwick-Way Transportation Company for 38 years.

John was a member of Crossroads Christian Church in Gray and a member of the Berean Sunday school class.

John was a 32nd degree Mason.

The service of rejoice for John’s departure to Heaven shall be Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services in Johnson City with Mr. G. Clinton Andrews, minister, officiating.

John’s final request was that there be no flowers, but donations may be made to Crossroads Christian Church Building Fund, 1300 Suncrest Drive, Gray, TN 37615.
