Larry Loftis, 68, of Baileyton, passed away Friday at his home.
He was a member of Baileyton Baptist Church.
He retired from Eastman after 33 years.
Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years: Marsha Bradley Loftis; his son: Brad Loftis; a sister: Patsy (George) Barham; two sisters-in-law: Sue (Bill) Woolsey and Cindy Bean; a brother-in-law: Rickey Bradley; a special niece: Gina Gredig; a special nephew: John Woolsey; nephews: Garth Barham and Ryan Bean; special friends: Jerry Weems and Bob Shultz; many special friends, including his friends and coworkers at Eastman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Anna Mae Loftis.
Larry was a loving husband, father and devoted friend.
He loved to play guitar, golf and loved riding his Harley with his son and friends
Larry wrote a special song for his parents.
He enjoyed gardening and ginseng hunting with his dad and son.
Larry had an extreme passion for Little Debbie Creme Pies and Coke.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jeffers Downtown Chapel with the Rev. Nathan Reynolds officiating.
Interment will be in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
