Mary Lillian Dayton Cox, 96, went to be with her Lord Wednesday while at home.
She retired from Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of Hardin’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Cox Hensley; one daughter-in-law: Betty Cox, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren: Katrina Michelle Hensley and Chris Cox; four great-grandchildren: Damarian Paul Story, Diamond Brown, Zaylee Cox and Mason Cox; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leroy Cox; sons: Gary Cox and his wife, Kathy Couch, and Mickey “Bear” Cox; and her parents: Dave Deyton and Josephine Taylor Deyton.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with the Rev. Troy Cutshall officiating.
Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hardins Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m. at the funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Deyton, Hobbie Dotson, Jerry Dan Deyton, Patrick Beard and her friends.
