Neil “Larry” France, 76, of Greeneville, passed away at his home Saturday.

Mr. France was a retired Master Sergeant and Green Beret in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife: Karen France; two sons: Hiro France and Jogi (Monica) France, of Okinawa, Japan; one daughter and son-in-law: Jamie and Brandon Bailey, of Greeneville; grandchildren: Bryson Griffey, Payton Bailey, Ty Bailey, Meadow Sturgill, Dominic Bailey, Lea France, Kyle France, Nikki Quirk, Karina France, Mariana France, Eiry Shimabukuro and Nina France; niece: Ruby Sky Scott; and special friends: Gary Smith, Rick Ward, Donnie Blue, Dave Stamp and Robert Carlisle.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Creed Jayden Bailey.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery with Earl Bailey officiating. Family and Friends are ask to meet at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, downtown, no later than 1 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
