Randy L. Dixon, 65, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday at Johnson City Medical Center.
Randy was a retired fireman with the Greeneville Fire Department.
He also worked part-time at Reynolds Auto Parts Store.
He is survived by his brother and sister in law: Jerry and Edna Dixon, of Greeneville; one nephew: Shane and Gloria Dixon, of Limestone; one niece: Monica and Todd Bailey, of Benton, Arkansas; one great-nephew: Tye and Tayler Dixon; three great-nieces: Makenna Bailey, Brianna Bailey and Hannah Dixon; several cousins; and three special friends: Doug Reynolds, Lynn Malone and Merle Archer.
He was preceded in death by his father: Herman Dixon; and his mother: Edith Dixon.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton chapel. The funeral will follow at 7 p.m. in Jeffers Afton chapel with the Rev. Doyle Pruett and the Rev. Tim Roach officiating.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Doug Reynolds, Owen Freeman, Steve Louderback, Alan Shipley, Sammy Reaves, James Reynolds, Chris Bowers and Lynn Malone.
Honorary pallbearers will be all firemen of the Greeneville Fire Department.
The family expressed a special thanks to doctors and staff of the fifth floor at Johnson City Medical Center.
