Theodore Glenn Hupp, 82, of Greeneville, formerly of Byesville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday morning at James H. Quillen Veteran Affairs Medical Center at Mountain Home.

Ted was born April 14, 1936, and was a son of the late Glenn T. Hupp and Ethel M. Richter Hupp.

He was a Christian by faith and retired from Yellow Trucking Company.

Mr. Hupp was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam War, and received a Purple Heart.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife: Shirley Hatcher; a granddaughter: Glisa Marie Head; and a sister: Carl A. Stone.

Survivors include two daughters: Cora Trushel and Diane Head; two grandchildren: DixieAnna Renee Head and Hannah RoseMary Head; and two sisters: Sandra (Bill Touville), of Byesville, and Nancy Fry of Zanesville, Ohio.

The family will receive friends at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. Saturday. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in Doughty-Stevens Chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Duncan will officiate. Greene County Honor Guard will convey military honors at the service.

Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park in Zanesville. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the County Veterans Council.
